“Local dining heroes” to launch at CPH

Two popular local restaurants sign up for Terminal 2 in 2012

Two popular Copenhagen restaurants, the steakhouse MASH and French cuisine bistro Le Sommelier Bar & Bistro, have signed up to open in Copenhagen Airport Terminal 2 in 2012. CPH says that this is evidence of non-aviation services provider SSP’s strategy to offer the right mix of well-known international brands and Denmark’s “local heroes”. In addition, two new delis will open with the name Food Market and More where Danish master chefs will create a wide-ranging menu.
“When SSP presented these two strong Copenhagen brands which we had had our eyes on for a long time, there was no hesitation,” said Carsten Norland, VP sales and marketing for Copenhagen Airports.
