ABBA museum to be a hit from Tuesday

World’s first museum on ABBA to open in Stockholm

Tomorrow the world’s first museum dedicated to ABBA will open in Stockholm. As with the ABBA exhibition that has toured some of the world’s capitals in recent years, modern technology will help visitors to get intriguing insights into the world-famous and well-loved Swedish seventies pop group.
ABBA – The Museum should become an essential attraction for incoming tourists, as many of the enthusiastic comments on the museum’s Facebook page show. A substantial marketing campaign has been continuing for months.
At the museum visitors will be able to pretend they are the fifth member of the band, appearing on stage with them and recording a song. In another room, called Ring Ring, the four former ABBA members will occasionally call in to talk to museum visitors. Other rooms will showcase the group’s costumes, dance routines and songs. ABBA have sold more albums than any other recording artist in history except Elvis Presley and the Beatles.
