Africa workshops return to the Nordics

Africa Showcase returns to Scandinavia in March
Following what it says was the workshops’ success last year, Africa Showcase is returning to Scandinavia in the first three days of March.
Agents and operators who sell Africa will have an opportunity to meet 20 African products in Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen. The event is designed for Africa travel specialists to discover new offers, meet properties and safari operators and “learn to sell Africa with confidence and passion”, say the organisers.
This year’s showcase includes exhibitors from Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The organisers say that participating companies have been limited to 20 companies to allow attendees to have focused meetings at the trade evenings.
The exhibitor list includes Anantara Mozambique; Diani Sea Resort and Diani Sea Lodge; Essque Hotels; Extraordinary; Green Heart Tourism – Ubuntu Experiences; Karen Blixen Camp; Ker & Downey Botswana; Kinasi Lodge Mafia Island; Leeu Collection; Malamala Game Reserve; Michaela Soule Marketing; Newmark Hotels, Reserves & Lodges; Rivertrees Country Inn; Robin Pope Safaris; Shamwari Group; South African Tourism; Sunlux Collection by Sun International; The Enasoit Collection; The Sands Kenya; and Twiga Tours.
The workshops take place in Oslo on March 1, Stockholm on March 2 and Copenhagen on March 3. South African Tourism is hosting a select group of buyers from Finland to attend the events in Stockholm and Copenhagen. Attendee registrations have a deadline of February 19.
