Expedia TAAP agents get same commission on mobile

Agents with Expedia TAAP, the travel agent program portion of the Expedia family, will be able to earn commission on bookings made through the Expedia App, it has been announced. The Expedia App recently won the Webby Award, described as the internet’s highest honour.
Travel agents registered for Expedia TAAP can now process bookings through the app ensuring the same commission levels as they would receive through their laptop or desktop computer.
Expedia sets the scene: “You know the story, you’ve just arrived home from a hectic day at the office and your mobile rings; it’s that client you spent hours with yesterday and they are ringing to confirm the bookings you discussed at length the day before. They are picky customers and were very selective about the hotels they wanted in Paris. […] Availability is short so you need to make that booking as soon as possible to close that sale. Within a few minutes you’re calling the client back with confirmation the bookings are done, confirmed and paid for. Just as well, there was only one room left.”
