Agents ready to attend River Cruise Expo

Travel agents will be able to stay onboard vessels overnight

Around 150 travel agents in a total of 250 delegates are signed up to attend River Cruise Expo in Amsterdam this weekend. Agents will be able to stay overnight onboard the vessels at the expo on Sunday, and get river cruise and destination training as well as networking.
As previously reported, River Cruise Expo, which will take place in Amsterdam on November 20 and 21 and is being organised by the London-based Association of Cruise Experts (ACE), is another sign that the river-cruise sector is continuing to flourish. Amsterdam is the ideal venue for the trade show as river-cruise boats from companies such as APT, AMA Waterways, Shearings and Elegant River Cruises will be on hand for viewings and overnight accommodation.
“The response we’ve received for our first Ace River Cruise expo has been overwhelming and the interest shown by agents has exceeded our expectation,” said Andy Harmer, ACE’s director. “This is the first time so many agents have gathered in one location to hear the very latest news from the river cruise industry and for many it will be the first time they’ve set foot on a river ship.”
