Air Lituanica wins Estonian Air arbitration

Battle between Baltic airlines seems to be over

A battle between two Baltic airlines appears to be over. The Lithuanian airline Air Lituanica has won an arbitration case against Estonian Air, which will have to pay €0.96 million to the Lithuanian company.

The Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce passed the judgment, regarding the unilateral termination of a commercial cooperation contract between the two carriers.

Air Lituanica initiated arbitration proceedings against Estonian Air on December 4 last year after the Estonian airline terminated its contract on November 28, remaining indebted for income collected for deposits and passengers already carried.
