airBaltic adds spread of summer destinations

Latvian airline launches Riga-Reykjavik among others
The Latvian national airline airBaltic will launch and relaunch a spread of new routes when it switches back to the summer schedules on March 29, many of which link the Baltic region with resorts in Mediterranean. It will also launch a new route to Reykjavik.
“For the upcoming season we have made improvements to more than 10 routes which will be perfect for your warm-weather getaway this summer,” said Wolfgang Reuss, senior vice president network management.
The carrier’s new route between Riga and Reykjavik starts on May 28. It will also bring back seasonal leisure destinations “with improved schedule” to Nice, Malta, Baku, Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Dubrovnik, Rijeka, Burgas, Venice, Olbia and Palma de Mallorca.
