airBaltic increases frequencies to Billund

Riga-Billund service increases to daily, from five last summer

For the duration of the summer season this year, the Latvian national airline airBaltic has pledged to increase the number of flights it operates on its seasonal route to the Danish city of Billund. airBaltic will increase its Riga-Billund service to daily, up from five last summer. This, the airline says, will make travel via Riga to its 60-plus destinations available from its home base in Riga, Latvia, in Russia, CIS countries, the Baltics, the Middle East and elsewhere more convenient this year than in 2011. A full schedule can be seen at airbaltic.com.
“Denmark is an important market for airBaltic,” Martin Gauss, the airline’s CEO, commented. “For Billund we have stepped up flights frequencies to daily flights for the convenience of both leisure and business travellers.”
