Airline launches city tours and activities

Alitalia works with worldwide provider of sightseeing tours

A new partnership between an online travel retailer and Italy’s national airline is bringing sightseeing tours available worldwide to the airline’s website. Some of the world’s best sightseeing and activities are now available in Alitalia’s website through an agreement with the global provider of sightseeing tours CityDiscovery.com. Alitalia says it is meeting its customers’ needs by optimising their trip-planning process.
Alitalia passengers can access the service on the carrier’s website and choose their tours – from hop-on hop-off tickets in New York to all-inclusive multi-day packages in Paris – along with their flights. They benefit, Alitalia argues, from a shorter and easier booking experience, allowing them to save time and added expenses.
