Airports in online destination guide trend

Gothenburg firm supplies “inspirational” travel content

Iceland’s Keflavik Airport has included a widget on its new customer friendly website that offers travellers “inspirational destination information” online and travel guides in pdf format for more than 400 destinations. InspireMe is a “destination content solution” created by Gothenburg-based destination information supplier ArrivalGuides. ArrivalGuides says it is seeing increased interest from airports for their guides. It has identified a trend where more and more airports are redesigning their websites and adding features to increase interest from customers to use the sites for things other than simply checking flight times.
