All-female crew flies to Saudi Arabia

Royal Brunei pilots make airline history
Royal Brunei Airlines has made company history with a female flight crew operating one of its services for the first time, TTG Digital writes.
The three-strong flight crew flew a Boeing 787 Dreamliner from Brunei to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia – a destination where women are still not allowed to drive.
The airline achieved this milestone as Brunei celebrated its independence on the state’s National Day. The crew was led by Captain Sharifah Czarena, alongside senior first officers Sariana Nordin and Dk Nadiah Pg Khashiem.
Women in Saudi Arabia were last year allowed to vote in elections for the first time.
“We are very proud of Captain Czarena, SFO Sariana and SFO Dk Nadiah,” the airline said on Twitter.
