BA pilot in horrifying air-show crash

Police say death toll could rise to as high as 20
Tragedy hit the Shoreham Air Show in southern England at the weekend, when a vintage Hawker Hunter jet flown by an experienced British Airways pilot crashed into cars on the busy A27 road, killing at least seven people. This morning, police said the death toll could rise to as high as 20 as the debris continues to be searched.
Pilot Andy Hill, an airline captain and former RAF instructor in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being pulled from the wreckage. Footage and photos taken by people nearby circulate on news sites and the internet showing the fireball created by the crash.
It is not yet clear what caused the tragedy. The vintage plane failed to complete a loop-the-loop at the air show and fell too low. It was the sixth disaster at a UK air show in the last seven years.
