Brexit: Greek resort refuses to change pounds

Brits unable to exchange money in parts of Greece
Post-Brexit confusion has led to British holidaymakers unable to exchange money in parts of Greece.
At least one resort, the Blue Lagoon in Kos, put up a customer notice telling guests they would not be able to exchange British or Scottish pounds for euros on site.
Matt Rooney, a tourist staying at the resort, tweeted a picture of the sign, which reads: “Dear guests, we would like to inform you that we cannot exchange British or Scottish pounds at the moment, as we do not have an official exchange rate from the central bank. Thank you for your understanding!”
In his social media post, Rooney said: “It’s beginning already! We’re in Greece, no cash exchange & no cash machine withdrawals for Brits. Great #brexitfail.”
The sign was put up shortly after the UK voted, narrowly, to exit the EU late last week, sparking volatile market trading that saw the pound slum to a 31-year low.
