Cannes prepares for luxury travel show

International Luxury Travel Market due for December

The International Luxury Travel Market trade show is scheduled to descend on the French coastal resort of Cannes from December 3 to 6. ILTM, as it is known, is “the leading ‘by invitation only’ event for the global luxury travel community”, held annually at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. The event brings together the world’s most sought-after collection of luxury experiences for the most discerning international luxury travel buyers, for four days of business and networking opportunities.
The show regularly attracts more than 1200 providers of luxury travel services and spans a wide range of interests. Participating sellers arrive from up to 70 different nations to present and promote services such as exclusive resort accommodation, golf resort retreats, ski services, car rentals, hotel options and other services.
Also present are representatives from organisations that provide personal touring arrangements and professionals who work in the travel sector representing companies that provide long-distance travel services by flight and rail. Special events include seminar sessions on specific topics in the travel industry and evening shows.
