Swedavia appoints new directors for Arlanda, Bromma and others
The airport director at Stockholm’s Bromma Airport is to become the new director at Stockholm Arlanda, airport operator Swedavia has revealed.
Peder Grunditz, who has also worked as director of Swedavia’s regional airports unit, will replace Kjell-Åke Westin from March 1.
Westin will assume a newly established position as ‘director of operational excellence’ as well as senior advisor to Swedavia’s president and CEO Jonas Abrahamsson.
The new airport director at Bromma will be Mona Glans, currently manager at Ronneby Airport and previously acting manager at Kiruna Airport. She will start her new job on February 1.
“I am pleased that Peder Grunditz, with his extensive airport skills and his modern leadership, has agreed to take on the position of airport director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport,” Abrahamsson said. “At the same time, Bromma Stockholm Airport is getting a strong leader in Mona Glans.”
“The fact that we can also accelerate the drive forward in our operational excellence work in the group, with Kjell-Åke Westin in the new position of director of operational excellence, is important in developing the airports of the future.”
In September, a decision was made to create an Implementation Organisation for large projects and a reinforced Portfolio Organisation at Swedavia was announced.
“These efforts will help all of Swedavia to increase implementation capacity in the years ahead, with great focus on our investments and strategic development programmes,” Abrahamsson added.
Joakim Kedbrant will be the interim director of Swedavia’s new Implementation Organisation from January 1, while recruitment for a permanent director – as well as for a new manager at Ronneby Airport – is underway.
