International conference in Bilbao to highlight regional impact of tourism
Issues of special importance to regional tourism, such as how to analyse tourism flows and maximise their economic impact, will be presented at the second International Conference on the Measurement and Economic Analysis of Regional Tourism in Bilbao, Spain on October 27-29. The conference will look at the application of new technologies for the measurement of tourism flows. Another central theme is policy-making for seizing destinations’ economic potential. The event is being co-organised by the UNWTO.
