Copenhagen fights to host Grand Prix

Danish Grand Prix is a possibility for 2020
A Formula One race through the streets of Copenhagen is a possibility for 2020, with the Danish capital joining a growing list of cities competing to host such an event.
Motivated by the tourism revenues that could be stimulated by such an international sports event, cities and countries around the world are promoting themselves to race organisers Liberty Media as potential hosts.
Sweden and Portugal are also reported to be preparing their own bids, as are multiple US states.
Racing track designer Hermann Tilke is rumoured to be involved in Denmark, with potential routes already sketched through the streets of the capital. Danish Formula One driver Kevin Magnussen was initially sceptical of the project but is now supportive.
