Couple sues airline after seeing cockroaches

Passengers take photographs after pests crawl out of air vents

A couple is suing an airline for $100,000 for mental and emotional distress, among other things, after seeing cockroaches come out of air vents and carry-on compartments. Harry Marsh, a lawyer, and his fiancée Kaitlin Rush are suing AirTran Airways for causing emotional distress, negligence, recklessness and fraud following the domestic flight on September 15 from Charlotte to Houston. AirTran has denied a number of the allegations.
The couple say they saw the cockroaches emerge soon after takeoff. They tried to inform the attendants, but say they were too busy to investigate. So they then took pictures of them.
