Crystal’s river line promises adventures in Europe

Crystal River Cruises to launch in late March 2017
Crystal Cruises has announced more details about its new river line, Crystal River Cruises, which will launch in Europe in late March 2017.
The line says its two new river yacht vessels will feature “larger accommodations and space-to-guest ratio than any other river cruise ship”, with six-star service. It also promises a “fresh approach to traditional river itineraries and experiences”.
The ships will feature 24sqm guest suites with walk-in wardrobes, two 46sqm penthouse suites, and a “palm court with dance floor and glass-domed roof” as well as a fitness centre and spa.
Destinations will include France, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria.
There will also be some overnight stays, while for days spent in port the line will offer its Crystal Adventures shore excursions, as well as its new program Active Exploration Adventures, tailored for “guests wanting a high-intensity shore-side activity”.
Passengers will also be able to create their own active adventures using bicycles (electric or manual), Segways and other active gear available on the ship for independent exploration.
A luxury yacht tender will also be on offer for private yachting experiences, which will take guests to more secluded areas within the destinations.
Itineraries, fares and bookings for Crystal River Cruises will be available from December 1.
