Dane appointed as CLIA SVP

CLIA promotes Bo Larsen to leadership team
The Cruise Lines International Association says it has added two new members to its global leadership team, including Dane Bo Larsen.
Formerly vice president for strategic partnerships at CLIA, Larsen has been promoted to senior vice president, strategic partnerships.
He joined the cruise trade body in 2014 and CLIA says he “will manage the strategic direction of CLIA’s Executive Partner Programme on a global scale” as part of the leadership team under Cindy D’Aoust, president and CEO.
Bo Larsen had a 20-year career in the airline business before becoming director for Cruise Baltic in 2007, establishing it as a well-known brand in the global cruise industry and winning a number of awards. In 2010, he also took charge of Cruise Copenhagen Network.
Meanwhile, Andy Harmer, former vice president for operations and director for the UK and Ireland, has been promoted to senior vice president for membership, overseeing all travel agent and professional development programs.
