Danish convention centre up for major award

Bella Centre in Copenhagen competes against world’s best MICE destinations

The Bella Centre in Copenhagen is one of five candidates hoping to be named as the best venue in the world for organising international conferences, at the prestigious Meetings & Incentive Travel Industry Awards, due to place in London on March 5. Also nominated for Best Convention Centre at the M&IT Awards are Barcelona’s International Convention Centre – described as “a benchmark for the events organisation industry on an international level” – as well as the Dublin Convention Centre, the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco and the RAI in Amsterdam.
Bella Centre is a trade fair and convention centre capable of hosting all types of MICE events, from trade fairs and exhibitions, to meetings, to parties. Also part of the centre is the new Bella Sky Hotel, an unconventional landmark property that opened in spring 2011.
