Denmark-Sweden bicycle ferry?

Local company near Copenhagen seeks permission
A boat could soon be ferrying cyclists between Denmark and Sweden, if the woman behind the idea succeeds in getting permission.
Rikke Stoltz, who runs Stoltz, a company based in Dragør, a town just south of Copenhagen Airport, has asked her local municipality for permission to open a bicycle ferry that would carry two-wheelers between Dragør and Linhamn near Malmö.
With the necessary permits, the Elephanten will sail with three daily trips during a test period in June, July and August.
The bicycle ferry idea has been kicking around for years, Stoltz said, and has the backing of the local mayor.
“I’m just a shipping woman,” she says. “I will do everything to help it succeed. It’s a great local project.”
