Disney is investing €2bn in an expansion plan to deliver “immersive” Marvel, Frozen and Star Wars attractions.
Disneyland Paris has offered a first look at its new Marvel-themed area coming to Walt Disney Studios Park next year.
Disney is investing €2 billion in the park as part of an expansion plan to deliver “immersive” Marvel, Frozen and Star Wars attractions, TTG reports.
Disneyland Paris debuted its Marvel Season of Super Heroes last summer, and now Captain America, Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Widow are all scheduled to return in 2019.
Marvel Season of Super Heroes will next take place at Disneyland Paris from March 23 to June 16 next year.
Guests will be able to interact “in new and exciting ways” with their favourite Marvel heroes, from Doctor Strange to Iron Man.
Black Panther, Spider-Man, Ant-Man and Wasp, Captain Marvel, Captain America and others will all feature too.
Besides new encounters, attractions, entertainment and dining options, the attraction will feature a reimagined “high-speed, hyper-kinetic” ‘rock ’n’ roller coaster’.
Away from the theme parks, Disney’s Hotel New York will get a Marvel makeover for 2020, becoming the first Disney hotel to showcase and celebrate the Marvel universe.
