easyJet launches new Stockholm routes

Low-cost carrier doubles presence at Arlanda
easyJet is boosting its presence at Stockholm Arlanda, doubling the number of destinations it has on offer at the airport to four.
The airline inaugurated two new routes, to London Luton and Milan Malpensa, which add to the existing destinations Geneva and Lyon. Both will be operated four times a week with an A319 or A320.
“We are confident that these new routes will prove popular with our business passengers and holidaymakers. We have grown significantly in Sweden over the last year – in 2016 we also started two new routes from Stockholm to Lyon and from Åre Östersund to London Gatwick, the latter being our 138th network point. This growth means that we expect to carry nearly 200,000 passengers to and from Sweden this year,” said Neil Slaven, easyJet’s UK commercial manager.
