EgyptAir strike – all international flights cancelled

Cabin crew at EgyptAir call strike today for 12 hours

Cabin crew at EgyptAir have called a strike today, demanding better working conditions, better insurance and an increase in staff numbers. All international flights are cancelled, including this afternoon’s flight from Copenhagen.
Egyptair, a Star Alliance member like Lufthansa, is Egypt’s flag carrier with 76 destinations and an active hub in Cairo. The airline says that it is suspending all international flights for 12 hours until 14:00 GMT, but it will continue domestic operations.
