Ellie Goulding, Iggy Pop to top Latvia festival

Air, M38, Grimes, Hot Chip, Richard Hawley also at Positivus
Ellie Goulding, Iggy Pop, Air and M38 will headline this year’s Positivus Festival in a rural, coastal setting in Salacgriva, Latvia. The festival celebrates its 10th anniversary and will run from July 15 to 17.
Other acts include Years & Years, Hot Chip, John Newman, Grimes, Charles Bradley, Richard Hawley, Mercury Rev, Wolf Alice, Oh Wonder and many more.
Festival organiser Girts Majors says he is confident “this year’s artists will deliver plenty of surprises and excitement, with visitors having to make an effort to catch all the fleetingly dazzling festival highlights.”
Ellie Goulding kicks off the festival on Friday the 15t, M83 perform on Saturday and rock legend Iggy Pop, whose next album is released this month, takes to the stage on Sunday. Up-and-coming Latvian artists will also be represented.
