Emirates to launch flights to Phuket

Phuket to be airline‘s second destination in Thailand

The hugely popular holiday destination of Phuket will become Emirates’ second destination in Thailand, with flights starting from December 10, operated by a three-class Airbus aircraft. Phuket will become the 15th route launch for the airline in 2012 and the second in South East Asia following after Ho Chi Minh City in June.
The launch will be “just in time for the holiday season,” said Tim Clark, president of Emirates. “We have always had a strong affiliation with Thailand and have been operating flights to Bangkok since 1990.”
