Estonian Air may make offer for Copterline

Copterline operates scheduled Tallinn-Helsinki helicopter flights

The supervisory board of Estonian Air has given the go-ahead for the airline to make a direct offer to buy Copterline, a Tallinn-based company that operates scheduled helicopter flights between Tallinn and Helsinki. Copterline CEO Tonis Lepp was unwilling to comment. But Joakim Helenius, chairman of the council of Estonian Air, explained that nothing had yet been firmly decided and that the board initially simply wanted to see if making such an offer would be justified.
“This has to be considered first and the general plane company and the development of Tallinn Airport have to be taken into account,” he said.
