Lounge, spa and work facilities open to business-class passengers
Helsinki-Vantaa airport’s Finnair Lounge has been chosen as the world’s best from a list of 600 lounges. The choice was made by 40,000 frequently travelling Priority Pass customers. It’s the first time that a lounge outside the USA has won the award in its seven-year history. Finnair Lounge and the “new generation” Finnair Spa & Saunas provide wellness and comfort services for passengers connecting on Finnair flights between Europe and Asia. The Lounge and Spa, which opened in December 2009, are situated between gates 36 and 37 in Helsinki-Vantaa’s Terminal 2.
The lounge has space for about 250 customers and its facilities include six individual shower rooms, buffet, bar and LED TVs in the relaxation areas. Work facilities include free wifi, Apple iMac workstations and a Finnish Powerkiss desk whose functions include wireless mobile phone recharging. The lounge is open for Finnair and oneworld business-class passengers and, for a fee, to other customers.
