Finnair signs codeshare with Bangkok Airways

Greater access to destinations in Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong

Bangkok Airways and Finnair have signed a codeshare agreement to give better access to key destinations in Thailand as well as to Singapore and Hong Kong, effective immediately. Finnair’s ‘AY’ code is now placed on the Bangkok Airways routes Bangkok-Samui, Bangkok-Phuket, Bangkok-Chiang Mai, Singapore-Samui and Hong Kong-Samui. Finnair’s daily nonstop services from Helsinki to Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong each connect with Bangkok Airways services to hugely popular Koh Samui.
“With this cooperation, Finnair will be the only European carrier that allows stop-over in Asia’s famous ports, namely Hong Kong and Singapore, before visiting Thailand,” Captain Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, President of Bangkok Airways, explained. “Chiang Mai, Koh Samui and Phuket are our favourite destinations for visitors worldwide.”
