Finnair technical employees return to work

Finnair Technical Services personnel return to work today

Finnair Technical Services personnel have returned to work with immediate effect. Individual cancellations or delays in flights are still possible, Finnair concedes, but flight operations are expected to return to normal during the day.
Personnel negotiations regarding the discontinuation of Finnair’s engine services operations and adjusting component services at Helsinki Airport continue. As previously reported, unions had earlier chosen not to accept Finnair’s proposal on financial support and reemployment support packages. This support is being offered to employees who are at risk of redundancy due to Finnair’s plan to source its engine and component services from SR Technics.
