Finnair wins the Northern Europe Award

The decision is made on direct passenger assessments

Finnair received the title of Best Airline in Northern Europe 2011 of the World Airline Awards, at the Paris Air Show.
Voted by over 18.8 million airline passengers from 100 different nationalities, the World Airline Awards are the most prestigious and respected quality recognition of front-line product and service standards across the world airline industry. With 200 airlines featured, the awards reflect customer satisfaction levels across 38 different items, including check-in, seat comfort, and passenger cabin services.
SAS won the second place and the Norwegian airlines took the third position.
Finnair provides also the shortest and fastest connection to Europe from the USA. In May 2011, the airliner launched direct flights to Singapore.
