First Hilton hotel in Latvia with Garden Inn

Plans unveiled to bring Hilton Garden Inn to Riga

Visitors to Latvia will soon be able to experience a new Hilton Garden Inn. The mid-market brand will enter Riga’s fast-developing hotel market when the hotel is completed in early 2016.

The 139-guestroom Hilton Garden Inn Riga Valdemara will be operated by the local company DNH and offer views of the city’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which this year is celebrating European Capital of Culture status together with Umea, Sweden.

The design concept of the newly built hotel comes in the shape of a nine-floor tower, making it an eye-catching landmark for visitors entering Riga via the main road Krisjana Valdemara which connects the city with Riga International Airport. The Old Town lies a short distance from the site, across the Daugava river.

Amongst the facilities will be an all-day restaurant and bar and up to 140sqm of meeting space. There will also be free Wi-Fi and 24-hour access to gym, business centre and pantry snack bar.
