One of Sweden’s biggest airline fare comparison sites is planning to take the lead across Scandinavia. has just launched in Denmark and in Norway. Now, by offering more price comparisons on a more user-friendly site, says it aims to become the Nordic market leader within two years.
Swedish Travel Network, which operates, was founded in 2006 by Michael Robertson, CEO, and Olov Lindberg, an IT architect. A search at shows travel from more than 30 agencies and 700 airlines flying to 5000 destinations. The site attracts around 50,000 visitors daily.
“The goal is to become the largest in Norway and Denmark. Then we will see what other countries we invest in in the future. We see a tendency for flight prices to creep up, and the price comparison sites find the cheapest airline tickets”, says Robertson.
