Airline’s passengers also fly longer distances
Norwegian reports in its monthly traffic figures that passenger growth continued in March. “Even with a strong capacity increase, the load factor remains high”, the carrier said. “Norwegian’s passengers also fly longer distances now than previously.”
The airline carried exactly 1,439,943 passengers in March, an increase of 6% compared to the previous March. Seat capacity (ASK) increased by 20% and the load factor remained stable at 77.6%. Norwegian’s passengers’ average flying distance rose by 14%.
The company operated 99.8% of its scheduled flights, of which 82.7% departed on time.
