Grand slam for SAS at Grand Travel Awards

Another set of awards to decorate the shelves at Scandinavian Airlines

Scandinavian Airlines won three awards last night at the annual Grand Travel Awards in Stockholm. SAS was named winner in three categories – best European airline, best intercontinental airline (a category it shared with Qatar Airways) and best domestic transportation.
SAS has scored a number of awards in recent weeks. Today, Flightstats CEO Jeff Kennedy is at Stockholm-Arlanda airport to personally hand over an award for Europe’s most punctual airline in 2010.
Last month, SAS won five awards at the Norwegian travel trade awards HSMAI for marketing and social media, and earlier this month SAS’ social media campaign Love Is in the Air was named Online Campaign of the Year by Flightglobal and awarded a “Webbie”.
