“Great demand” for Cuba cruises

NCL extends Cuba itineraries at least to end of 2017
Norwegian Cruise Line has extended its Cuba itineraries until this coming December.
The operator had originally planned to operate five of the weekly four-day Miami-Cuba round-trip cruises from May. But now another 20 will start in June and run until the end of the year, each offering an overnight stay in Havana.
The cruise also features a call on Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian’s private island in the Bahamas.
“We are thrilled to be the first cruise line able to offer weekly sailings from Miami to Cuba through the fall of 2017, all with overnights in the beautiful city of Havana,” said Andy Stuart, the cruise line’s president and chief executive.
“We have seen great demand from our guests for sailings to Cuba and we look forward to providing more opportunities for them to experience this incredibly culture-rich destination on a weekly basis.”
