Growing trend for airport spa treatments

Get a VR foot massage, a swell-reducing leg scrub, a gold face mask
With all the stresses of air travel and potentially poor conditions for health and skin, passengers are discovering a growing trend for relaxation treatments and massages at airport spas.
Some of the newest and most interesting around the world are listed in Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
At Dubai International Airport, for example, the Be Relax Spa found after security provides a strange spa treatment – a virtual reality massage. Get a foot massage while submerging yourself in VR scenes dolphins swimming, elephants in the wild or a 360-degree view from a balloon ride.
Among other spa treatments, there is a Jetlag Leg Treatment for Etihad Airways passengers in First and Business class at Abu Dhabi Airport’s Six Senses Spa. A leg scrub and cooling compressions reduce swelling after flights.
At JFK in New York and LAX in Los Angeles, XpresSpa gives a seaweed facial that leaves skin instantly smoother and a hydrogel face mask made with actual gold and botanical extracts that makes the skin glow, useful after a long-haul flight.
Other treatments and massages, found at airports in Toyko, Singapore, London Heathrow, Qatar, Miami and Portland, can be found in the article here.
