Green Globe Standard for travel and tourism gives awards

Businesses with the highest percentage of sustainability indicators under the Green Globe Standard for travel and tourism have been given “Highest Achievement Awards” for 2011. Green Globe Certification presented the award to a number of hotels and resorts: Bucuti Beach Resort, Aruba; Club Med Djerba La Douce, Tunisia; Hacienda Tres Rios, Mexico; Hotel Concorde Berlin, Germany; Anantara Semiyak Resort, Indonesia; and Moevenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea.
The “Green Globe Highest Achievement Award 2011 – Attraction” goes to Le PAL SAS, France. The award for convention centres has been given to Luebecker Musik & Kongresshallen GmbH, Germany. The award for cruises goes to Lueftner Cruises, Austria. And the award for business and administration is taken by Thonet GmbH, Germany.
