Horror fans book up “Saw” movie cruise

“Saw” franchise highlights growing trend for specialist cruises

The trend for specialist cruises continues as horror fans start booking cabins for the first official “Saw” movie cruise. Enthusiasts of the movie and its many sequels will be able to meet its stars on the five-night group sailing, on the 2,974-passenger Carnival Glory. The cruise begins in New York on August 11 and includes stops in two Canadian ports – Saint John and Halifax.
“Saw” cruisers can choose from three packages and events include a tattoo contest judged by the movie’s stars as well as movie screenings. Fares, based on double occupancy, start at $779 per person.
