Hyatt to enter with both adults only and family brands
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has given more details on its plans, initially announced a month ago, to enter the fast-growing all-inclusive market. It now says it will do this with two brands – Zilara for adults only and Ziva for families.
Existing properties Royal Cancún and Barceló Los Cabos will reopen as the Hyatt Zilara Cancún and Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos early in 2014. The Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall in Jamaica, formerly the Ritz Carlton Golf Resort & Spa, will also open around the same time.
All properties will be completely renovated. Three more resorts will open later next year and in 2015.
“We are currently working with guests, especially our Hyatt Gold Passport members, to design a differentiated all-inclusive experience,” said Chris Walker, vice president for brand experience at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts.
