Hotels help to make dreaded activities fun

Singapore hotel installs computer games in laundrette

Let’s be honest – doing your laundry on the road is a drag if you try to do it yourself or at best extremely expensive if you send it down to the hotel. But at the Capri by Fraser in Singapore, the Asian hotel booking site Agoda.com reports, themed do-it-yourself launderettes feature Nintendo Wii and Xbox Kinect video game machines, iPads, table football, punching bags & exercise machines. There are also meeting zones and social work spaces where small groups can work, relax or share travel tips while they wait for their clothes to get clean.

Smart hotels are investing in these areas to improve the overall customer experience during their stay. The investments appear to build new connections and strong loyalty between hotels and customers.
