It “offers a vast range of soft and tougher adventure”
Cruise Critic has announced its latest Editors’ Picks awards, for both the US and UK passenger markets. Among the many winners is Norwegian cruise operator Hurtigruten, taking the award for Best for Adventure.
“Whether it’s dog-sledding, chasing the Northern Lights, staying the night in an ice hotel, ski-mobiling, whale watching, viewing glaciers in Greenland or taking a dip in Antarctica’s freezing waters, Hurtigruten offers a vast range of soft and tougher adventure options combined with cosy cabins and great local cuisine at reasonable prices,” Cruise Critic says.
Other winners this year include Norwegian Breakaway (Best New Ship), Carnival Sunshine (Best Ship Refurbishment), Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Hebridean Island Cruises (Best Luxury Cruises), Disney Cruise Lines and Thomson Cruises (Best for Families), Azamara Club Cruises and Fred. Olsen Cruise Line (Best Value for Money), Windstar Cruises (Best for Honeymoons) and Princess Cruises (Best for Romance).
