Icelandair staff add playful selfies to lost iPad

Man leaves iPad on flight and gets it back with selfies

Stepan Hruda from New York was understandably stressed after leaving his $500 iPad 4 on a recent Icelandair plane. So he was overjoyed when the airline quickly returned it – and amazed to find a little surprise the airline staff had left for him.

Cabin crew and ground staff decided to leave some jokey selfies for the owner, proving that airlines do have a sense of humour. Hruda said he found it amusing and hoped the staff in the photos would not face any disciplinary action.

“This was a great customer experience,” he said. “I am very happy I got my iPad back and I hope no one gets silly and tries to give these nice employees s**t for it.”
