Travel industry representatives are invited to workshops
India is a round the year destination offering variety of tourism products. All kinds of aspects of the personality of India are revealed on a journey to this most mystical of Eastern lands exotic, extravagant and eclectic. Experiencing India’s arts and crafts, fairs and festivals, luxury trains and wellness options are increasingly easy to do, while niche tourism like sustainable tourism, rural tourism are being implemented throughout the country. Swedish visitors were up 11% last year and in total India welcomed more than 130,000 Nordic visitors.
Till now, India was promoted from the destination’s and product’s point of view. The Incredible India campaign, which was launched ten years ago, has been incredibly successful. The second phase of Incredible India campaign “Find what you seek” helps tourists to find the destination or product of desire in India. Let it be heritage sites, forts, beaches, backwaters, lakes, mountains, adventure, wildlife, culture, festivals, medical, wellness, MICE, religion or shopping. India offers something for everyone with a wide range of products.
In order to highlight the second phase of Incredible India campaign “Find what you seek” a delegation led by Mr. Parvez Dewan, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, comprising of 21 tour operators, DMCs and State Tourism Boards will be presenting the Incredible India Roadshow at Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki in the last week of August 2013. Travel industry representatives are invited to Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania, Biskop Gunnerus gate 3, 0155 Oslo, Norway on August 26 at 16:30, Clarion Hotel Stockholm, Ringvagen 98, Box 20025, 10460 Stockholm, Sweden on August 28 at 16:30, and Hotel Grand Scandic Marina, Scandic Marina Congress Centre in Helsinki at 13:30.
