Two people have been injured after a bus with 20 passengers left the road on riksväg (national highway) 70 near the ski resort town of Idre, close to the border with Norway.

The cause of the accident is being investigated, “but [conditions] are very bad at the site, which may be something to do [with the accident],” Bergslagen Police spokesperson Tommy Lindh told the national news agency TT.

Police confirmed the accident on their website on Sunday morning.
