Jebel Ali International Hotels rebrands

Dubai-based firm from today becomes JA Resorts & Hotels

The locally owned Dubai-based company Jebel Ali International Hotels today announces it has undertaken a strategic rebranding process. The hotel company, which has more than 30 years’ hospitality experience and is well known within the UAE, is making way for what it calls the “fresher” name of JA Resorts & Hotels. Interbrand, a highly acclaimed branding agency, was appointed to assist with the project.
“The new identity ensures a consistent and engaging brand that will enhance the group’s presence overseas as they look to expand into international markets”, the company said in a statement.
CEO Kevin Wallace emphasised, “Essentially, we’re reinforcing what we already do well, which is ‘heartfelt hospitality’ at all of our properties, whether big or small, central or remote.”
JA Resorts & Hotels has also announced that it will open two properties in early 2013. The 342-room Ocean View Hotel will open in Dubai Marina as the only 4-star hotel on the beach. Enchanted Island Resort, meanwhile, will be the group’s first international property outside the UAE. The Seychelles hideaway will feature ten villas circling the perimeter of a five-acre island.
