Loved ones surprised by KLM seat-cover greeting

Decorate a seat cover with your own personal message

One of the best airlines in the world for surprising passengers with unexpected touches, KLM unveiled a new idea – seat-cover greetings. The stunt initially took place on a single day, last November, but the Cover Greetings idea may evolve into a permanent service.

Inspired by people saying goodbye to families and friends at the departure gate at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, the airline now offers to take them to a place where they can decorate a seat cover with their own personal message, which is then quickly placed on the headrest of the right seat in the plane.

KLM made a video showing some of the cover greetings and passengers’ touching reactions.
