Lufthansa carries record number in 2015

Lufthansa Group carried 107.7 million during year
Lufthansa Group carried more passengers than ever in 2015, 107.7 million of them, up 1.6% on the previous year. Low oil prices and continued high demand for travel helped offset the impact of strikes during the year.
Lufthansa includes Austrian Airlines and Swiss as well as low-cost carriers Germanwings and Eurowings.
However, established pan-European budget airline Ryanair carried 101.4 million customers in 2015, an increase of 17%.
