Luxury cruise holiday company Silversea fails health inspection

One of the UK’s most expensive cruise holiday companies; Silversea has failed a health inspection on board one of its luxury liners.

The Silver Shadow was sailing in Alaska when it received a surprise inspection by the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Silver Shadow, which charges over £2,000 per passenger for a 7-night cruise in that region, scored 3 points below the satisfactory pass mark of 87 out of 100.
